Nature of Business
Fred.Olsen Production owns and operates Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) and Floating Storage and Offloading (FSO) vessels for lease to clients in the international oil and gas market. Since our start-up with floating production projects in West Africa in 1995, we have demonstrated long-term commitment both to our customers and to the host countries where we operate. Our market is primarily in benign and intermediate environments and we are well established in West Africa, expanding into the South East Asian and South American markets.
The Company's group headquarters - Fred.Olsen Production ASA is located in Oslo, Norway and is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange. The Group is supported by operating offices located in Singapore, Port Harcourt (Nigeria), Port Gentil (Gabon), and Houston (United States). Offshore activities are
performed by our sister company - Fred.Olsen Marine Services AS. The Group currently owns and operates 3 FPSO units, and renders management services for the operation of a production jack-up (MOPU).
